Spring and Republic is a well-made essentials brand based in Iceland. We started with one thought: the world does not need more clothes, it needs ones worth keeping. Every piece is designed to outlast trends, made from certified materials, in a named factory, for the person who reaches for the same thing season after season.

We do not use that word. What we can tell you: GOTS-certified organic cotton, production in Portugal under EU labor law, no forced labor, no unpaid overtime, no claims we cannot certify. Every factory is chosen, visited, and verified. You decide what to call it.

Most everyday clothing is bought for a moment and gone by the next season. We started because that felt worth fixing, not with more options, but with fewer, built properly. Pieces you reach for on repeat. Because of what they represent on you, proud to wear, how they last.

A short, certified, visible supply chain. Every factory is chosen directly, no middlemen, no inherited relationships. Production is based in Portugal, within the EU's regulated labor framework. We draw a line between a legal minimum wage and one a person can actually live on. That gap is wide in the garment industry. We do not accept it.

Portugal. We work with one factory at a time, visit before production starts, and set quality standards before a single unit is cut. All production falls within the EU's regulated labor framework, paid leave, overtime protections, and collective wage agreements are standard, not optional.

GOTS-certified organic cotton on core pieces. Recycled materials where construction allows, without reducing durability. Every product page lists the exact material, its certification, and country of origin. If a material does not carry certification, we say so. We do not omit it.

Orders are processed within (1-4) business days. After dispatch, estimated delivery times are:

• Capital Region (Reykjavik): (2-4) business days.
• North Region including Akureyri: (1-3) business days.
• Regional Iceland: (2-4) business days.

We do not ship on public holidays. Winter weather may affect transit times.

Yes. Orders above 15,000 ISK qualify for free delivery.

We ship nationwide across Iceland. Three delivery options:

• Póstbox: 1,100 kr
• Post Office pickup: 1,290 kr
• Home delivery: 1,900 kr

Tracking details are sent to you via email or SMS once the Pósturinn has scanned your package. Allow up to 24 hours for updates to appear. If you have not received tracking information within 48 hours of your dispatch confirmation, contact us at support@springandrepublic.com.

If delivery fails or your package is not collected from a pickup point and is returned to us, we will contact you to arrange re-delivery. Please ensure your delivery address is correct and complete at checkout. Additional shipping fees may apply for re-delivery.

Yes. Local pickup is available at our Akureyri Premises: Godanes 6, Door 105, 603. Orders are ready within 24 hours on working days. Pickup hours are 10:00 to 15:00. You will receive instructions after checkout.

We ship using recycled and recyclable packaging where possible. Please reuse it for returns or recycle it according to local guidelines.

1. Scan the QR code on your invoice or click Return & Exchange portal
2. Enter your order ID and email address
3. Select your preferred resolution: Full refund / Exchange (different size or color) / Store credit
4. Repack the item in the original mailer it arrived in.
5. Include your invoice inside the package.
6. Seal the package well and use tape if needed.

8. Drop the package at your nearest Pósturinn office or Póstbox. If you cannot access the portal, contact us at: support@springandrepublic.com

• Return items take up to 5 workdays. to reach us and be inspected.
• Alternatively, you can exchange your item in person at our premises: Goðanes 6, Unit 105, 603 Akureyri.

To be eligible, items must be returned to their original condition:

• Unworn
• Unwashed
• All original tags attached
• Free from odor, stains, makeup marks, deodorant residue, or visible damage

Items should only be tried on as you would in a physical fitting room. We reserve the right to refuse returns that show signs of wear beyond what is necessary to inspect the item.

Refunds are processed within 5-10 workdays of receiving and inspecting your item. Shipping is deducted from your refund because it is a service that has already been used. When your order left our premises, that cost was real and paid. A return does not undo it. What you are refunded is the full product price. This does not apply to defective or incorrect items. In those cases, the full amount including shipping is refunded.

Once we receive and inspect your item, your new item ships within 1-4 workdays nationwide. Shipping for the exchange is paid by you upon delivery. Pósturinn will send you an SMS or email when your item is ready and the fee to pay before collection.

Store credit is issued as a code or gift card to your email once your return is approved. It is valid for 24 months, can be used partially across multiple orders, and cannot be exchanged for refund or cash.

Sale items are not eligible for a refund. You can exchange a sale item for the same item in a different size or color, subject to stock availability. If no exchange is available, store credit is issued.

Gift items are not eligible for a refund. You can exchange for another item of equal value or receive store credit valid for 24 months. Contact us at support@springandrepublic.com with the order ID from your gift receipt and we will assist you.

Contact us at support@springandrepublic.com with your order number, a description of the issue, and clear photos of the defect. Once confirmed, we will replace or refund the item in full at no cost to you. You have a 2-year right to claim under Icelandic consumer law.

Items returned after 30 days, items that do not meet condition requirements, and socks with a broken seal (for hygienic reasons). Manufacturing defects are always covered regardless of these restrictions.

Contact us at support@springandrepublic.com with your order ID and email address and we will handle your return manually.

Yes, if it was only tried on as you would in a fitting room. Items showing signs of wear beyond inspection will be refused and returned to you.
