Transparency means knowing where your clothes comes from, who made it, and how it was produced.
At Spring And Republic, we believe that level of clarity is standard, knowing every step, from the cotton field to the packaging area. That's not an aspiration for us. It's how we work. Our products are made in Northern Portugal, in Braga, Barcelos, and Guimarães, by manufacturing partners we visit and work with directly.
Fashion isn't the biggest polluter. But it overproduces more than almost any industry. The fix isn't complicated: make less, make it last.
Partnering with responsible manufacturers.
We visit our partners regularly to review production practices, exchange knowledge, and maintain direct working relationships. They range from family-owned facilities to larger producers with dedicated compliance teams. What they have in common is more important than their size: clear standards and traceability.
Every facility operates under EU labor law. That means formal employment contracts, regulated working hours, paid annual leave, social security protections, and health and safety requirements, for every person involved in making your clothes.
