Spring & Republic ehf. is registered in Iceland and operates under Icelandic law.
2. Scope & Acceptance
By placing an order on our website, you confirm that:
- You are at least 18 years old or have guardian consent.
- You accept these Terms & Conditions.
- You understand that the purchase forms a legally binding contract.
- If these Terms are available in more than one language, the Icelandic version shall prevail in case of discrepancy.
3. Products & Availability
We sell clothing and accessories through a direct-to-consumer model.
Product descriptions include:
- Material composition
- Country of production
- Care instructions
- Sizing information
- Sustainability and materials information
Minor variations in color or texture may occur due to lighting or screen settings. All products are subject to availability. We reserve the right to discontinue items at any time.
4. Prices & VAT
All prices are listed in ISK and include Icelandic VAT (VSK), unless otherwise stated. Shipping costs are displayed before final checkout.
For orders shipped outside Iceland:
- Additional customs duties or import taxes may apply.
- These costs are the responsibility of the customer.
We reserve the right to correct obvious pricing errors.
If an error affects your order, you will be contacted and may confirm or cancel.
5. Order Process & Contract Formation
A binding purchase agreement is formed when:
- You complete checkout and payment.
- You receive an order confirmation email from us.
We reserve the right to cancel orders in cases of:
- Payment failure
- Suspected fraud
- Incorrect product information due to technical error
If we cancel an order, you will receive a full refund.
6. Payment
- We accept approved payment methods displayed at checkout.
- Payment is authorized at the time of order.
- All transactions are encrypted using secure SSL technology.
- We do not store full card details.
7. Shipping & Delivery
Estimated delivery times are displayed at checkout. Iceland: Delivery within 1–4 working days nationwide. Delivery times are estimates and not binding. This does not affect your statutory rights in case of excessive delay.
- If delivery fails due to incorrect address provided by the customer, additional shipping fees may apply.
- If delivery is delayed due to reasons outside our control — including weather, strikes, or shipping disruptions, we will notify you and fulfil your order as soon as possible.
Transfer of Risk
The risk of loss or damage to the goods transfers to the consumer when the goods are physically delivered to and received by the consumer or a third party designated by the consumer (other than the carrier).
Delay in Delivery
If delivery is delayed beyond the agreed timeframe, the consumer may request that delivery be made within an additional reasonable period.
If delivery is not completed within this additional period, the consumer may terminate the contract and receive a full refund without undue delay, in accordance with applicable consumer protection law.
8. Right of Withdrawal (30 Days)
Under Icelandic and EEA consumer law, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days from receiving the goods.
The right of withdrawal expires 14 days after the day on which the consumer acquires physical possession of the goods.
Spring & Republic extend this to a 30-day voluntary return period, counted from the date you receive the goods.

- Return the product without undue delay after notifying us, and no later than 30 days from receiving the goods.

Conditions:
- Items must be unused
- Tags must remain attached
- Products must be returned to their original condition
- A copy of the order confirmation and the invoice must be included in the return package.
Refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 5 business days after we receive and inspect the returned item, and no later than 14 days in accordance with applicable Icelandic and EEA consumer law.
During the statutory 14-day withdrawal period, the product price and standard delivery cost will be refunded. Refunds will include the original standard delivery cost paid by the consumer (if applicable) during the statutory 14-day withdrawal period. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item is defective or incorrect.
Inspection and Diminished Value
Consumers may handle and inspect the goods to the extent necessary to establish their nature, characteristics, and functioning, as would be permitted in a physical retail store.
If the value of the goods is diminished due to handling beyond what is necessary for such inspection, Spring & Republic ehf. reserves the right to deduct an amount corresponding to the diminished value from the refund, in accordance with applicable law.
9. Defects - Warranty & Legal Guarantee
Reporting a defect:

- We cover return shipping for confirmed defects
Your legal rights:
- 2-year guarantee from delivery under Icelandic and EEA law
- If defective, you can request repair, replacement, price reduction, or refund
Not covered:
- Normal wear and tear
- Improper care
- Accidental damage
- Third-party alterations
Your statutory rights under Icelandic and EEA law are not affected by these Terms.
10. Sustainability & Product Claims
Where we reference certifications or sustainability attributes:
- We provide material, origin, and certification details for all products.
- We only state what we can verify. Full details are on each product page.
- We do not claim environmental perfection.

Certification Validity
References for certifications are based on documentation provided by suppliers at the time of production. Certifications remain the property and responsibility of the issuing certification bodies and may be subject to change, suspension, or withdrawal beyond our control.
11. Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including text, design, logos, and images, is the property of Spring & Republic ehf. Unauthorized use is prohibited.

We don't sell data, and we process personal data in accordance with:
