Long-lasting essentials start with raw materials. They shape how a garment feels, how it holds its shape, and how long it stays in use.

Most compromises in clothing start here: fiber choice, chemical inputs, and sourcing clarity. Fabrics are often selected for cost or speed, with limited transparency around sourcing or processing. Artificial fibers can release microplastics during washing. These particles can enter wastewater systems and eventually reach rivers and oceans. They don't disappear. They move through the food chain and find their way back into our bodies.

Fiber selection.

We prioritize certified natural fibers for our core fabrics. Some synthetic fibers are currently unavoidable. When recycled synthetic fibers are used, they are chosen carefully and in limited areas where they improve durability, reinforcement, or fit stability. We avoid adding fiber without a functional reason.

100% Cotton. Nothing Else.

Our t-shirts are made from 100% GOTS-certified organic cotton, no synthetic fibers, no blends. The fabric is soft and breathable from the first wear and built to stay that way. It holds its shape and feels through repeated washing, which is exactly what an essential should do.

Cotton canvas.

Our tote bags are made from cotton canvas, woven from 100% GOTS-certified organic cotton with no synthetic fibers. The outer canvas is heavier than the inner layer, built to carry weight without stressing the lining. Canvas holds its structure and softens with use over time. The result is a dense, durable bag that gets more personal the longer you carry it.

Every Fiber Has a Job

Our socks are made with 70% GOTS-certified organic cotton. Because socks take real daily wear, we add a small amount of polyamide, including recycled pre-consumer production waste, to reinforce the heel and toe where fabric breaks down fastest. A minimal amount of elastane keeps the structure stable and helps the sock return to shape after washing. Every fiber in the blend is there for a reason. Nothing added for appearance, nothing hidden.

What does GOTS certification mean?

Organic cotton comes from non-GMO seeds and is grown without synthetic pesticides or herbicides. Because of that, the soil stays healthier and the people working in the fields are not exposed to harsh chemicals during growing and harvesting.

Textile Exchange's 2026 Life Cycle Assessment confirms that organic production systems reduce greenhouse gas emissions compared to conventional cotton, driven primarily by the elimination of synthetic fertilizers. The Global Organic Textile Standard is one of the most rigorous certifications in textile production. It requires certified organic fiber and covers how it's processed and the conditions in the facilities handling it.
